For our Life Science and Materials Science department at the headquarter in Füllinsdorf we are looking for several personalities as Automation Chemist.
What is this position about?
As a global market leader, our solutions in the Life Science and Materials Science business units accelerate current and future developments such as novel drugs in a wide range of chemical research areas and quality control. The position as Automation Chemist is an opportunity for candidates who would like to develop their careers from Automation Chemist into positions like Project Management, Sales or Workflow Architect.
Your mission
  • Prepare, transfer, and execute a variety of different workflows and chemical tests on our automated workstations
  • Present with enthusiasm our innovative workflow solutions during demos, tests 
  • Be the ultimate go-to person for troubleshooting and application support for our customers worldwide (e.g. by Hololens remote assistance)
  • Help to further develop our equipment on hardware and software side with innovative ideas
  • Installation of our automated laboratory solutions at our customer sites, user training and customer support 
Your profile
  • Ph. D degree in chemistry or Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in chemistry (University of Applied Sciences degree)
  • Extensive lab experience (5+ years) preferably combined with industry experience 
  • You literally enjoy contact with customers
  • You like to combine chemistry with modern laboratory and automation equipment
  • You are a true powerhouse in our highly motivated team and are eager to contribute significantly to the ongoing success of our enterprise
  • Excellent communication skills in English - speaking German is a plus
  • Independent working, high degree of initiative and ready to integrate in a team of highly motivated automation chemists
  • Ability to travel is a plus (at our international customer sites or conferences and exhibitions)
