The Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena is a member of the Dutch Polymer Institute (www.polymers.nl), in which industry as well as leading research groups carry out pre-competitive research projects. Within the technology area “High-throughput Experimentation” Chemspeed and the Schubert-group have cooperated already since 2002. In order to further boost the application of HTE equipment, e.g. for pharmaceutical and energy applications, the interdisciplinary Jena Center for Soft Matter (JCSM) has recently been created.
Center for Materials Discovery
The Centre for Materials Discovery (CMD) champions the use of high throughput (HT) technologies for materials research. They have established a core capability in HT techniques and instrumentation to enable the discovery of innovative materials for high-value applications across multiple sectors.
University of Princeton
Princeton simultaneously strives to be one of the leading research universities and the most outstanding undergraduate college in the world. As a research university, it seeks to achieve the highest levels of distinction in the discovery and transmission of knowledge and understanding, and in the education of graduate students. At the same time, Princeton is distinctive among research universities in its commitment to undergraduate teaching.
