DevOps System Engineer IT (m/w)
In this role, you will be a leading contributor to our software development and IT teams and be responsible for all DevOps related tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Conception, implementation and testing of the IT infrastructures and architectures for our automation systems and their integration into the IT environment at our customers and together with the customer, either with a cloud (Azure) or an on-premise solution
- Forming the interface between software development and the operation of the systems
- Establishing an improved, automated release management & deployment process for the distribution of our software solutions
- Checking and implementing topics in the area of system / IT security
- Active participation in the specification and evaluation of additionally required hardware and software
- Organization of support, maintenance and system updates for our customers
- Manage and set up the video systems for system monitoring
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree or similar and a minimum of 1+ years’ of professional experience in a comparable position
- In-depth experience in setting up server infrastructures based on Microsoft technologies and networks including their protection
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and experience with Microsoft Azure
- Experience with database concepts and implementations, C #, REST APIs and PowerShell
- Familiarity with backup strategies, disaster recovery scenarios and IT security
- Very good communication skills as well as a confident and confident demeanor
- Experience or desire to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Great attention to detail
- Independent, dedicated, and able to deliver production-ready code with minimal guidance
- Good English and/or German language skills
