UI/ UX Designer (m/f)

To take our business to the next level we are seeking to recruit a:

UI/ UX Designer (m/f)

 In this role, you will be a leading contributor to our software development teams and be responsible for designing and modernizing our GUI. We expect you to collaborate with our teams, customers, and stakeholders to design innovative interactions.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Optimize existing user interface designs
  • Create overall concepts for the user experience within our software suites
  • Design the aesthetics to be implemented within our software suites
  • Build mock-ups and storyboards to conceptualize designs and convey project plans to clients and management
  • Produce high quality design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes
  • Collaborating with the marketing team, and internal and external stakeholders to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user.

 

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1+ years’ UI/UX software design experience
  • Experience designing interfaces for laboratory applications and/or chemical industry experience a plus
  • Experience working on with Web/CSS/Angular/C# teams a plus
  • A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work
  • Working knowledge of state of the art UI/UX software stacks: Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite or similar
  • Experience or desire to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • Great attention to detail
  • Independent, dedicated, and able to deliver production-ready code with minimal guidance
  • Good English and/or German language skills
