EFMC-ASMC

The European Federation for Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology (EFMC) and the Division of Medicinal Chemistry of the Portuguese Chemical Society will be organising the 10^th edition of the International Symposium on Advances in Synthetic and Medicinal Chemistry (EFMC-ASMC 2025).

This event will take place in Porto, Portugal from August 31-September 4, 2025, and is planned in the series of successful events which started in 2004 in Moscow and most recently took place in 2017 in Vienna, 2019 in Athens and 2023 in Zagreb.

This symposium will bring together chemists from around the world and will focus on the latest advances in strategies and methodologies across synthetic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, chemical biology and drug discovery. How we enable more sustainable processes and materials alongside new opportunities to address challenging target classes with multiple success stories to clinical compounds will be presented.
