EFMC-ISMC 2024

The biennial EFMC International Symposium on Medicinal Chemistry - EFMC-ISMC - is a key Symposium in the field of drug discovery and it traditionally attracts around 1.000 participants from industry and academia. The most recent EFMC-ISMC meeting took place in France (Nice, 2022). In 2024, we will all be gathering in Rome, Italy, while the 2026 edition is scheduled in Basel, Switzerland.

EFMC-ISMC is one of the leading Medicinal Chemistry meetings worldwide. It attracts a targeted audience composed of experts in drug discovery and development. This includes medicinal and synthetic chemists as well as scientists active in the fields of computer assisted drug design, disease biology, DMPK, pharmacology, early toxicology, and chemical and pharmaceutical development.

For five days, Rome will be the setting of a high-profile and international scientific meeting. The commercial exhibition will form an integral part of the conference and will represent a unique opportunity for companies to present and promote their products and services to the numerous scientists involved in Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology.

EFMC-ISMC 2024 is organized by the Division of Medicinal Chemistry of the Italian Chemical Society, on behalf of the European Federation for Medicinal chemistry and Chemical biology (EFMC).
