High output (mixed) oxide synthesis by pH-controlled precipitation, ion exchange, sol-gel processes

Each reactor with its own set of conditions - individually controlled tank reactors (reactor volumes 100, 240, 1’000 mL total volume) with precise, continuous feeds:

• Up to 12 / 24 oxide syntheses per run on an AUTOPLANT (incl reaction prep, reaction execution, work-up, analysis), up to 6 per run on a semi-automated MULTIPLANT.
• Easily exchangeable stirrer designs (anchor, twisted blade, gas entrainment stirrers…).
• Powerful mixing for viscosities up to 80 Pa.s at 300 rpm and 30 Pa.s at 900 rpm with an anchor stirrer.
• Independent control of all process parameters in each reactor with PAT like temperature, pressure PSD, pH.
• Independent, precise temperature and stirring control in each reactor (e.g. 130°C temperature difference between adjacent reactors, with active cooling >>130°C).
• Internal and / or jacket temperature control.
• Flexible and precise continuous feeds.
• Multiple independent liquid feeds per reactor.
• pH measurement and control (e.g. swinging pH control via acid and base).
• Vessel-to-vessel transfer for multistep processes.
• Gravimetric solid and viscous liquid dispensing.
• 4-Needle Head for volumetric liquid handling and sampling.
• Feeding and sampling under reaction conditions.
• Cleaning in place (e.g. automated cleaning, inserts).
• Ventilated hood for safety and conditioned operation.
• AUTOSUITE SOFTWARE - drag & drop experimentation with easy interface (e.g. python custom device) to e.g. LIMS, ELN, data analysis, AI / ML closed loop.
