Chemspeed's workstations are embedded in Chemistry Innovation Ltd

June 7, 2012

Chemspeed Technologies AG the leading provider of high-throughput and highoutput research & development workflow-solutions is proud to be an integral part of Chemistry Innovation Ltd in the UK. Watch the Telegraph's Business Club feature video on Chemistry Innovation and how our workstations are embedded below: About Chemistry Innovation Ltd In 2005 - 2006 the UK government set up Knowledge Transfer Networks to accelerate successful innovation by improving connections and collaborations between industrial sectors, companies and academic groups. Chemistry Innovation Ltd is an independent organisation supported by The Technology Strategy Board as one of 15 Knowledge Transfer Networks across the UK. Chemistry Innovation Limited was formed in 2006 with the support of the key professional societies, The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) and the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE. The Chemistry Innovation Limited board consists of the RSC and IChemE and is chaired by Dr Graeme Armstrong. This provides the corporate governance that enables Chemistry Innovation to function effectively as an organisation. The strategy under which Chemistry Innovation works is industry-led and is aligned to the remit of the Technology Strategy Board. A critical success factor for Chemistry Innovation is the effective engagement, input and support of key stakeholders (industry, academia, public bodies and other key organisations) that provide innovation support services. Accelerating Porosity Assessment in Solid Materials via SemiAutomated Platforms

The design and discovery of porous materials have become a central theme in materials science, driven by their applications in gas storage, separation, carbon capture, and catalysis. Rapid advances in synthetic chemistry, particularly in metal–organic frameworks, porous organic cages, and conjugated microporous polymers, have enabled the generation of increasingly large and diverse material libraries.

Implementation of Large-Scale Multi-Reactor Automation for Process Development

Pharmaceuticals increasing complexity requires longer synthesis with unique processes for each step, increasing the number of experiments to develop robust sustainable processes. The time to develop these processes is getting shorter, and automation can support the growing need to efficiently perform more experiments.
